    Tap water for bubble bucket?

your ppm levels will vary depending on which strain you are growing. Some plants like heavy feedings and some like very weak fertilizers. First off you need to know your strain and what it likes. If you have never grown those strains try asking around to see what people were using for nutrient...

    Tap water for bubble bucket?

Check the ppm of your straight tapwater. It will give you a ballpark of how much salt and minerals that already exist in your water. Hopefully it will be in the 200 or under range. If you are using a public water supply they have water tests done that are way more indepth. As a taxpayer you...

    The Art of The Auto

That is a 250 watt of blazing HPS haha. The LED is supposedly 3watt bulbs for a total of 240watt. I posted something earlier about this LED light because I believe it is using 2watt LEDs for a total of 160watt. Hell with it a picture is worth a thousand words. Jeez you would have thought they...

    12/12 Interrupted

On another note, plants don't care what "time" it is. With DST I don't adjust any of my timers. Plants could care less if we humans decide to mess with our clocks. In a plants world the clock is the sun!

How do I use this light hanger? HELP!

Hey I'll give you a hint with those rubber nipples. They go on the bottom of your ballast, like rubber feet.

    Honey Oil

I did notice in your post that you failed to mention what kind of solvent you planned on using. Without knowing which solvent you plan on using your 315F is of no use. First pick which solvent you plan on using. Next get the complete MSD sheet on that solvent. The MSD information is on the...

Lighthouse Blackstar 240w LED.... Any good?

I am currently using the blackstar led light. I'm not to sure that the light is 240watts. If you read the WHOLE description of the light it states that it will draw as little as 120watts depending on line voltage purity. I have not measured how much power this unit draws but I did notice upon...

    green tint?

Some of the "clear" plastics that are used in greenhouses are perfect. They block out a lot of the damaging UV rays that the plants don't need while they let all of the usable light in. You can be standing 100 feet away and can't make out what type of plants are growing inside. All you can see...

It would be nice if they pooled all the money they spent on looking for our grow sites into something useful for a change. Good luck with those choppers!

    Fertilizing plants and rain

You can always foilar feed the leaves. Don't drench down the buds, just give them a mist. Hit the leaves pretty good and that should help. Good thing with rain coming is that it will help rinse off the junk you just sprayed on them.

    maine weather

Well it all depends on what part of Maine you live in. Down at the coast there is not supposed to be much rain. As stated above by muaythaibanger, unless you can check on them often it wouldn't be a bad idea to pull them if they are ready. If your buds are still pretty small I would say wait and...

Wondering about weather getting cold in mass

I live north of you. Trust me you will be fine. Its the low 30's that do the real damage to plants.

    bud rot, what to do?

Jeez try and get out there ASAP. Who cares if you get a little wet. Bud rot can spread like wildfire in the right conditions. Considering its going to be rainy for the next day or two your best bet is to get to it right now. You can get a little wet today and have an extra oz to smoke tomorrow...

    trichome mystery??

When you checked your plants the first time, was the temperature for the past couple of days somewhat cold. I grow in Maine and this is very common. You will go out one day and take a look and think that you have maybe one week left. Then you go check the next week and it looks like you have...

    temps in the 40's

If we get a real good frost (34 degrees and below) and your plants are unprotected, they show signs of stress pretty quickly. I have seen them come out of a hard frost looking pretty decent just as long is it warms up and stays warm. The gradual decline from cold weather isn't as fast or...
