Second on the scope, and also look around on how finished buds look, and wait till you get there. Don't just count 8 weeks and think you're done, it may be 9 or 10, the plants really add weight the last couple weeks.
Pro Mix here, add all the nutrients (you're going to add anyways, why not just have 100% control) You can mix with some more perlite (cheap as shit) or keep it as is (like I do,) the first few weeks of flower its 1 watering a week... then towards the end it's every other day.
LOL at the chauvinism in here. How dumb are you that you think knowing how to grow weed makes you smarter than over 50% of the population. Women have no difference in mean IQ... Having different hobbies to me is a very good thing, but to purposely keep something as 'my toy, don't touch it'...
vert bulbs? the fuck? you just hang the lights from the roof in a socket, no need to buy anything new. Make sure to have enough air conditioning to cool this because you probably wont be air coolint vert.
yeah you would want to do this immediately, it should go, take cutting, dip in hormone, place in medium (or clone aero thing) immediately. Roots are KILLED by light so if you have a stem just chilling in some glass you are not going to see roots most likely. Youtube this shit man. I know this...
so Ive seen a video on youtube, search for it and it makes perfect sense, you allow the potted plant to dry, then have nice comfortable pH'd water in a LARGE tub (think large rubbermaid tub) and you remove the plant from the pot, and dunk the entire rootmass/dirt into the tub of pH'd water and...
yea I dunno about light movers, I have talked to 3 people personally that have used and stopped because of them breaking... The flipbox is going to be cheaper than building I think, plus you save on ballasts and lower cfm fans needed etc..
dome and tray together. Make sure and soak the rockwool cubes for hours before you use them (in 5.8 ph'd water). And spray the clones a couple times a day for the first week. after that you can take the dome off and spray em a couple times for a couple days then transplant to whatever you use...
Just to reassure you man, those plants look beautiful and healthy. Maybe you have had slight temperature dips at night (promote purpling). Or maybe it's just the genetics of the plant. You can flush with more if you like but if you aren't getting yellow tip'ed or brown tip'd leaves I would keep...
everything in my room is pH'd to 5.8 but I seriously just cut the thickest branch I can off (Direct relation to hardyness of the clone and survivability rate in my anecdotal evidence and anything I've read. I dip immediately in to rootech (have tried it and clonex and rootech is better to me)...
I was thinking maybe a split between the two, what if you have say 1 side with open tables 3ft x 16 feet and have 6 600 watt lights, then on the other side of the room (long ways) you have 2 4x8 tents with 3 600 watts in each, the kicker is only having to buy 6 600 watt ballasts. and 6 flipbox's...
I would say going with a more comfortable temperature is better. Have you tried something easy like placing a couple 1 litre ice water bottles in the little grow area? or a fan in the room always drawing the coolest/freshest air possible in and at the tent?
If this is stealth think about smell...
There are a couple of options. Air conditioners by default CREATE some heat. if you placed an A/C unit in a room with no air in or out the room would get warmer with the a/c unit on, directionally it will be cooler but the overall temperature of the room is increased.
If you vent into other...
Sooo, Went to a new hydro store and they didn't have my trusty bag of sunshine mix #4 in the black plastic 3.8cu ft.
They did have sunshine ADVANCE mix #4
which is a tiny bit different (contains coco-coir and mycorrhizae ) and new I see. While I'm not normally up for...
trychs are not the only thing that tell you when the plant is ready, the swollen calyx's the reseeding hairs tell you as well. All mily trych would be highest thc content. I like a little more couchlock and so I go for 5-10% amber when I pick as well as making sure the plant just look's "Done"...
Love this thread, thank you so much to the well informed that add info and correct the wrong info out there. Mello I do a very similar thing to all my plants. I spray them with an OMRI certified Pest-out (it's cottonseed oil and a few other seed oils) then with water. I then neem them (at like...
