At what point during flowering do you think the plant stops growing taller and just focuses on flower production? Or does it ever stop growing taller?

I am curious about what issues my plants will undergo by growing with temps in the low to mid 80's in my grow closet? I can't get my temps down. My temps seem to stay at about 86 degrees F. How many of you (and I know some of you do) grow with high temps and have success?
