I need to buy some soil,and i don't know a good excuse as to why i need the soil..any ideas on what i should say its for?

this is my first outside grow,i know from reading around on this forum that the fingers on the leaves will start to decrease during the middle of the vegging stage.my sativa dominant plant max fingers are 7 and the other day two five finger leaves sprouted at the top of my plant.so does this...
