I cut the big colas into individual buds to dry. I had some dense colas that rotted in the middle during the drying process.

I think it depends on how dense your buds are. If they're light and airy don't worry about it. If they're dense and heavy, it cant hurt to break them up. Or hang them upside right so the moisture doesn't collect in the thickest part of the bud. I had an indica with very dense buds and the inside...

I haven't had any mold issues. I have 6 plants left to harvest. I have one, my biggest plant thats way behind the others. I'm going to leave her as long as I can. I also have a long spindly sativa with pink buds. She's gonna take a while as well. I'll post pics on my thread as I go.
