How long should you wait before you start taking clones again from a mother plant that was in 12/12 flower and is now back in 24/0 veg?

This stuff in the beginning is not easy. I quickly found out that it is very time consuming (for those who are perfectionists). Also, it is not cheap. I'm just feelling kinda bummed out because I tried to clone just the way all of the vids and people said and poof! All died. I feel lousy...
