    Adding Molasses

Thanks, I did a bit of searching, and I found what I needed.

    Adding Molasses

I've heard people suggest diluting molasses with water and adding to the plants soil. What does this do, and what is the "science" behind it?

    Budding Photoperiod

This thread needs a bump! Currently they are on 12/12. But I have heard many sources say that the extra two hours of red spectrum light will boost budding, but any more than that will inhibit. Got the light leak covered, thanks though.

    Budding Photoperiod

What is the consensus for flowering? 12 hours light/12 hours dark or 14 hours light/10 hours dark?

I just bought the a few of the GE Ecolux Plant and Aquarium fluorescent tubes. I will be using them for budding. Does anyone know what the color temp on these are though. I think I am hearing 3050k. Does anyone know for for sure. This is a cheap man's grow.

    Question About Changes in Photoperiod

Checking the sunrise and sunset times seems to indicate it would receive almost exactly 14 hours of light. And the days are only going to get longer. So, it would seem to be ok.

    Question About Changes in Photoperiod

I have a few Northern Lights and Afghans that I have been veggin for about 2 months under 6500k lights with about 6000 lumens for 24/7. My plan was to veg for 2 months and then move outdoors. But now I'm wondering if the change in the photoperiod will induce flowering. I have heard that some...

When to switch from 24/7 to 18/6

Canabis culture is like lawn care, everybody is an expert. At least they think they are. Doesn't matter how many books you read, you'll always find something else to contradict what you just thought you learned.

Using coffee as a organic fertilizer

That's pretty cool I think I may go ahead and try it as a fast acting liquid fert. You can't get much more organic than that. Naturally though you should probably keep a close eye on your soil acidity. Great Info!

When to switch from 24/7 to 18/6

Are you saying that when I'm flowering 10/14(L/D) is not optimum? Because that's what I'm saying. 24 hours a day seven days a week is for vegin or if you want 18/6. And 10/14 or 12/12 is for flowering (budding). Veging-24hrs/7 days or 18/6 Flowering(budding) 10/14 or 12/12 I don't...

    Can you believe...

I hear you. RIU is better by far. I posted some questions on concept420, and the only person ever to respond was the mod. That was three weeks ago, and still nobody else has responded.

    Can you believe...

Yeah man, but that's not the point. It's stupid to even ask for that much info.

    Can you believe...

I was just about to register with the canabis.com forum. But they want my fist name, last name, DOB, hometown, male or female, and postal code. I may not be the smartest man, but it doesn't seem all that healthy to give them that much info.

    Photoperiod for vegetation

Is there any benefit to having a dark period for vedging such as 24/7 light as opposed to 18/6 (L/D). I know many people have the lights on 24/7 during vegetation. But I've heard some say that there needs to be a dark period for vegetation so the plants can store up nutes. Sort of re-charge...

When to switch from 24/7 to 18/6

Yeah I got it. I was talking about vegin. I was saying you could veg for 24 hours 7days a week, or 18 light/6 dark, or 20 light/4 dark for vegin. Budding could be 12/12 or 10/14 (L/D). I've heard optimum is 10/14. But less then that offers no added benefit. Good lookin though.

When to switch from 24/7 to 18/6

I beleive it all depends on how big you want your plants to be. I started 24/7 light as soon as I put them into pots. I'll see how big they are in a month, but I may go for two months with 24/7 light. Bear in mind that when you switch to budding your plants will double in size. So keep that in...

    First round oval leaves dying

Can anybody tell me what this brown spot that is rapidly spreading indicates?

    First round oval leaves dying

How about the brown spot? Does that indicate anything? Because it's spreading pretty fast.

    First round oval leaves dying

That's new, I'll have to check that out. I've always heard you can stress your plants into hermies, or males. I'll get a hold of a ph meter and test the soil.
