I've grown both GH's and Mr Nice's. Mr Nice's version, was more uniform in growth. The buds filled in better, and the high seemed to last a bit longer. Both were really good, but since you're asking, I'd say give Mr. Nice's version of SSH a try. IMHO it's better.

Riperoo, Jillybean is an excellent strain. I've been growing it for several years now, and it never disappoints. It's a real mood lifter for me. I often fire a bowl, with breakfast.

Both Querkle and Deep Purple stay short, no stretch at all in flower. That cuts down on having to adjust spacers under the pots, or moving lights up. Plus they are indica dominant, which makes them a little tougher and more forgiving for new growers. Just a couple of things to consider.
