Yellowing Clones

The odd part is that this is crop #2. I used the same tap water for the last, without these problems. I'm going to pick up the distilled water today and try that. thank you for the input.

    Yellowing Clones

I don't have a RO system, so Im stuck with 350 ppm tap water. Correct me if Im wrong but ppm is only a measure of solid particles disolved into the water. That includes more than just usable nutrients if I'm starting on 350ppm water and the added nutrients brought ppm levels to 420, that's...

    Yellowing Clones

These were in a cloning chamber for almost 4 weeks before they were moved into this setup. I'll cut the nutes and give it a try though.

    Yellowing Clones

These clones are now several weeks old. They have only been in this chamber for a week and a half.

Tap water here is tested at around 300-350 ppm. 420ppm is low on nutes. PH is tested and good.

It's a deep water culture. If you're unfamiliar with a DWC please read up on it. The res...

    Yellowing Clones

Hey guys, I have an issue. I have 14 clones in a prebuilt closet. All the clones were healthy going in but in a week and a half have done nothing but turn yellow. Nutrient levels are now at 850ppm but were low (420-480ppm) They're in a deep water culture with drippers and a fogger in the...

    Plants with issues.

I have multiple plants with problems right now. all growing in an ebb/flow system on solid nutrients. (miracle grow) I have a white widow with yellow and dry wilting tips; (Plant 3) another that has some yellowing around the outer edges of older leaves. (Plant 2) and a third that has spotted...

    Submerged Roots and Rootrot

From my understanding growing where the roots are always submerged risks rootrot. That rootrot was killing the root by lack of oxygen. My question is, if you can oxygenate the water enough, can you grow in the previously mentioned situation?

    No Water situation

I went out of town for a few days and came back to find a few of my ladies considerably wilted due to a water pump failure. The leaves are still soft and green, but I fear they may die very soon. Is there anything I can do as far as an emergency remedy to help them?

    914 CFM fan 84.99

I used to have one very similar for work in my dads old shop. I wouldn't recommend it's use in a grow room. Unless... you're hoping to test hurricane force winds on the root system of your ladies. Lol.

    CO2 from Dry Ice

I was using it for a period of time... but it didn't seem extremely effective, and while It may be cheaper short run, long term use is more costly than just setting up a co2 system

    Height Control

Aside from SCROG, what's the best way for me to limit the vertical growth of my ladies? I've heard of squeezing and bending branches but I haven't seen it work very well. Any Suggestions?

    Best Seed Banks?

I wouldn't be toooo concerned with not buying anything from overseas. Even though it does increase the risk, US customs doesn't even check 5% of what comes into the country.

    Seeds Float.

Seeds of the coca plant, used for producing cocaine among other thing, are checked for quality by placing in water. If they float, they're typically bad. I realize we're talking about different plants, and the seeds of marijuana weigh less, but is this true with marijuana as well? Personally...
