yeah i use molasses for the sugar to fatten'em up and i think it adds alittle to the flavor. as far a the ph goes i use eath juice for ph up/down that stuff changes ph like nothing i have seen.

oh yeah the temps i wouldnt go under 70 or over 80 at extrems. that is just me but i too am always learning with this dwc system

you can use the hydroton and pucks with no problem, if you have a water pump in your set up it would not hurt to use a filter bag. as far as nutes i have used fox farm in the begining really did not like it advance is leaps ahead of fox farm and well worththe money. i still have some tiger bloom...
