Well. I'm back from out of town and I checked my plants Trichomes. The extra week of flowering didn't effect the plant that much. I did have more than 50% amber trich's but I think this will only help the high. They are now hanging and I can't wait to try them. Thanks for the advice CALIGROWN...

Check your Trichomes. If you see that half or more are amber. Harvest. It doesn't matter if the hairs are white, brown, red, pink, purple or whatever. Check the trich's. This is your determining factor. Greenthumb

You should be ok cutting the leaves if they are in the way of other buds. Make sure that you leave enough to absorb light. Just don't go overboard and you should be fine. Greenthumb

From what I understood about flowering is that once you cross a particular line in the flowering stage that no matter what you do as far as light, the plant will continue to flower and die. I don't think this method will work but if you have time and product to kill. Try it. Greenthumb
