To all the experienced lampworkers/pipers out there, what is an acceptable torch for a beginner? I have read that quite a few start out on the National 3B/6B/8M. Opinions? Additionally, what tools do you really need to start out? I have considered buying one of those kits from various places...

My lhs has a piece I have been considering purchasing, almost exact to the photo pictured. It's $348.80 out the door. Is this too much for a HVY piece? I welcome any opinions, thank you.

I need opinions between the HTG GrowBright, or the Quantum BadBoy at Grener's. Both are 4 ft. 4 bulb fixtures, and rated at 20,000 lumens. The Quantum is $10 more approx, but doesnt include the $60 bulbs and yo-yos. Is the Quantums worth it, or will I be happy with the grow bright? thank you...
