My plants have been in flower for a week and I would like to change from 8-8 AM to 8-8 PM. (lights come on at night not morning) Is it safe to just make the switch after a longer dark period or should I spend weeks changing the light schudule a little at a time? A longer dark period should not...

I have to go out of town for a day and I have a choice of leaving the lights on for 24 hours or off... The plants are a week in flowering so I'm thinking off would be the best option? Should I be worried about hermies? Would 24 hours of dark stress a plant out THAT much? :confused:
