my uncle has grown monsters outdoors in the mojave desert. summer temps 115. i think if you can control the humidity alittle in a dry heat you will be fine, they grow in afganistan also

I did the ebay thing for tents and lights, all together to include soil, pots, and nutes from local store i spent just under 1k$ i got 2 6.5x6.5x6.5 grow tents and 2 600watt switchable ballasts which included both an HPS and MH bulb for each so i have 4 bulbs.

so i decided to go and do "right" i was using CFLs but i bought 6.5x6.5x6.5 grow text and a dual HPS/MH 600w ballast and lamps. the MH buld came crushed and awaiting a replacment so im using the HPS to veg rt now. clones are 4 OG kush 1 purple urkle 1 purple kush 1 dxl 4 - this is a strain...

im about 2 hours north of you and im about to put some clone in the ground in about 2 weeks. the temps are about 60-68 day and 40ish at night rt now. i also built a green house so i could retain some of the heat and moisture during the night
