I agree, I have seen a ton of great results using these type of "fabric" pots. You can reuse them, but often times they will start to break down after a couple of grows.

You are going to have to keep things cool in there. 90s is too high, getting rid of a light or having one come on for only a few hours a day would be better, experiment with that and see how it effects the temps inside the tent, once you get it to the room with AC you should be fine.

Yes, T5, 3000K should be pretty good for flowering. Yes, an HPS is a much better "point source" of light and can really be a canopy buster and get the light beyond the tops of the plants, however, the T5 is a longer lamp and can usually bathe the sides of the plant in light pretty well
