UV-C : The new weapon against indoor garden pests.

No it's cool I just don't want anyone to have the wrong idea about what I'm referring to here. What I would recommend is building an isolation chamber to 'flash' plants. But make sure you do your research on what wavelengths of light to use because they are pretty specific about which ones will...

UV-C : The new weapon against indoor garden pests.

That article talks about using UV-C in-line with an air filtration system (isolated from exposure to plants/people) and the plants are exposed for about 1 second for a reason. and I guarantee that where ever these plants are on this "conveyer" mentioned in that article is isolated. UV-C is not...

UV-C : The new weapon against indoor garden pests.

no absloutely not. the only benefit to uvc is that in a strictly controlled setting it can help with bugs, mold, pathogens, etc. But exposure to this light (for you or your plants) for any extended period of time WILL HARM YOU AND ANYTHING ELSE IT COMES IN CONTACT WITH. This stuff passes right...

ALL suggestions needed. My sanity depends on it...

Originally no hoses or stones were new. Since the issue I've changed everything from the stones and lines to the buckets and syringes I use for nutes and such. Water change was the absolute first thing I did when I noticed the issue

These gals are looking great despite the epidemic that is slowly driving me mad haha. The link for that thread is at the bottom and ANY suggestions are helpful. They are slightly behind because of this issue but still look great. They are in flush right now and i'm just waiting for them to...

For some reason that doesn't work either. If i set it out of range it stays out of range. Only if it's set correctly does it then go out of range. You can clearly see where the frustration starts to set in haha

Thank you rainz :) You know that's what I thought at first, and it still appears that they are still moving along quite swiftly. They're not like super advanced but they do seem to be a little bit ahead of most strains I've done in the past, comparatively. It is supposed to be a big yeilder...

Oh they grow plenty fast enough haha. I'm saying the moms grow too fast for me too keep up with sometimes. So I'll run my moms through if they get too big and keep a different one. I only do this a handful of times tho cuz of the genetic deterioration. That forces me to always need new strains...

i'm thinkin the purple in this is not genetics. more likely from the cold weather. the stuff smells amazing and has great crystal production but isn't really anything special to be honest. to me purple=less chlorophyll=less food=slightly lower potency. i'd rather hav the green stuff!!

UV-C : The new weapon against indoor garden pests.

actually a lot of companies that offer purified water, i.e. culligan, use a uvc filter as a final stage in their filter process. its highly effective because it doesnt break down the water but will kill any other particulates in the water.
