I was wondering about the light focused on a small area also, but I hope it's not going to be a problem since my grow space is only 5' wide x 3' deep and 8' tall. I'm going to try and hook it up today, so we'll see. I'll post pictures when it's all setup. Thanks

Hello, I have 12 of these 400 watt HPS high bay lights, and I'm wondering what is a safe way to detach the ballist from them. Can I just cut the white and black wires shown in the picture and solder on longer wires and mount the fixture on a chain to the ceiling and mount the rest somewhere...

Ok, I will not water them as much and i will stop feeding them. My 4 fluorescents are 42 or 48 watts each. I was planning to wait until flowering to hook up the 400 watt high bay I have (I actually have 12 of them if anyone wants to buy some, let me know :-D). Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the replies. I only water when the soil is dry 1 inch below the surface, which is what I read to do, so I didn't think i'm over watering. I'm using (4) 4' Fluorescent bulbs as my lights for veg, and I have a 400 watt HPS to use for flowering. My soil says it provides food for 2 weeks...
