Buds losing smell when I begin to cure.

I made the same mistake but only with one big bud and I'm still pissed. Just let em dry two more days after the trimming. That would make the difference. If enough moisture is left in the bud it will rot and the first symptom is a wet feeling on the bud followed by browning and loss of...

Should my weed lose its smell while drying?...

Is it possible that drying/ curing incorrectly could ruin the smell? He said it was good before he dried it. Look closely with a microscope if you have one to see if the trichromes are still intact. Could be a slight rot? That would ruin the smell. Does it smell musty along with grass smell?

    Stressing plants during flowering

I found making small injuries to the flowers makes them swell in response. Probably to protect itself. So I'm pretty abusive to the flowers including bending the stems touching the tops. Leaning them on there sides and they seems to get enormous as a response.

Why is 24 hrs light preferred over 16? Clones

I agree. Clones dont have rootstock and will likely die so 24 or 23/1 light schedule would be prudent.

Advice & Help Needed!! "Purple Stems" (Clones)

I know it's way too late from 2014 but with clones in general you need to grow out a massive root structure with 1/4 strength nutrients and once you have lots if nice roots increase the EC of your nute solution by 100 per day until you reach 1450 EC wait there for new growth. If slow or crappy...

Clones stems turns red and hard

The stems turn red from exposer to blue and UV light as protection. That's why under HPS you get greener stems and buds and need to add florescent blue supplements or metal halide to get the colors to pop. So I would not judge stem color for health instead focus on leaf color/ growth rate/ leaf...

Citric Acid and Cannabis Horticulture with Professor Matt Rize

I came here because I think growers are treating the buds themselves with citric perhaps as a THC preservative or even to improve THC availability. I have read THC-A degrades to CBN which is not as potent but still has some effects. Is it possible a quick spray after harvest with citric acid...
