    Vertical setup possible issue

Really like the system! Do you plan to scrog these? That's the route I'd go! If you had the downpipe running at a 45° instead of vertically and angled ur light the same in a tiered style u would get an increase in canopy size and the plants wldnt grow into each other.... I'd think about...

    Double ended vertical hps!

U see I always thought that was the reason DE weren't supposed to be hung vertically but assumed I was wrong when I saw this fixture!

Well just heard bk from them, thought it wld be easier to just post a screenshot of the thread!

    LED Companies w/ LINKS

I've Been talking to the guy who's selling them n he seems to know his lighting and I like the thought thats gone into these as well as the board size and led spacing just asked him about diodes so will see about that. Looks like there's a v2 coming out soon n he's picking the ratio of spectrum...

Has anybody seen these? https://www.famintsyn.com/products/dragonfly-v1/ Seem pretty good specs bang for buck ect. They look like they cld be over driven pretty bright if u wanted to

    Double ended vertical hps!

just watched this video by growerhouse bit of a better look at it!

    LED light intensity

That makes sense, I guess there are all sorts of things far as how spectral ratios affect each other to consider. I mentioned earlier I read someone here say that there is a marked leaf temperature rise when the saturation of light reaches a point where efficiency drops off....if that's true u...

    First grow newbie

This is really good advice for a newer grower to minimise chances of f-ing it up. I do think tho with a little bit of thought, prep and practice you can minimise transplant shock and get better root growth to the point its not worth playing safe. Ive always put the old pot in the bigger one...

Brilliant! Will have to let us know how it goes!:bigjoint:

    LED light intensity

Yes that is something I've seen and experienced what I was wondering is if there are seperate limits to the spectrums or is there a sum total of photons a plant can make use of in a day and will use whatever you give it. But after some thought I think it's a bit of both....some plants have lower...

    LED light intensity

I guess what I'm wondering is: Whether a plant has a light absorbtion capacity as a whole. photons is photons as far as plant growth goes and spectrum has more to do with phenotypic expression and efficiency of transmission.... Or whether a plant has different amounts of different wavelengths...

    LED light intensity

Does that mean that to plants that photons are photons or can a plant max out at a one wavelength and not at another? I mean do plants have different dli requirements and limitations at different wavelengths? Or is it cumulative total photons regardless?

What's the worst broscience you've heard?

I reckon there are certain methods of growing that it is definately beneficial to flush but equally there are are lots of ways that it just isn't necessary. I've always wondered about the flushing but found since switching away from a sterile hydro system to a more microbe organic. Flushing...

Yeah to be expected but having things go wrong is the best way to learn! Glad ur harvest expectations are met regardless....thats the main thing lol!:bigjoint:

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

I do love the organics and the liquids seem to be a lot more manageable.....i have to say tho that if u over do it, its no where near as easy to flush and correct as the salt based synthetics!

    Yellowing out, freaking out!

Sorry the only experience I've had with recharge is listening to Scotty real on the dude grows show but I use a couple of microbe products that use some of the same microbes and all the other ingredients are well known to be good for growing like kelp, humic n fulvic acids and aminos. Quite a...

Sickness or nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn?

Ah nobody takes care of ur girls as well as u wld lol! Tbh I wldnt worry about flushing much more as u flushing won't be able to flush organics quite like synthetics and if ur back on track with ur pH all should be fine :) I prefer to use organics but I do keep some synthetic nutes around to...
