I use CFL's in a wooden box painted flat white on the inside. The wood is about 1/2" thick and even with the door closed all night the top of the box is barely warm to the touch.

That's my problem, I don't have a vent at all. haha. I just leave the door open when it's daytime and close it at night so it isn't too bright in my apt. I'll take a pic of the outside of the box...

Yeah, but I didn't want too much of a couchlock crop. I'm hoping more for a more headstone. These were grown 16 hours north of California, just pass the Can/US border...=)

I didn't really keep track of the flowering days unfortunately, but I grew them outside so the cold nights helped the purple come out. I would probably guess something like 7 weeks of flowering?
