wow now this is the sub forum we should have always had, i have enough recipes to fill books but i do love to just share them for free! It was startiung to get expensive making all those edibles now i can just share recipes i know taste good which is nice because i no longer partake in the green stuff, my job makes it a bigg no no and i really like my big ass paycheck.
yes please contribute!

Whooooooooo, good to see this placeI love me some food
Been running a kitchen for the past year singlehanded without any prior experience or understanding of cooking, so have just last week quit so that i can take a professional cooking course middle of next month, and then a Rick stein seafood course following that so that i can get into a serious cooking job
Will look forward to seeing some of your recipesAlways interested to try new things. First port of call though needs to be a shop, i have a broken wok, a broken frying pan, a broken oven tray, and some saucepans, nothing more

I believe that if life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade... And try to find somebody whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.
This is very cool Sunni...I will look through my stuff for good recipes.
Blood Orange Sauce
1/2 cup blood orange juice
1/2 cup low or no sodium chicken stock
1 to 2 stems of thyme (I just put in whole and remove stems at end of cooking)
1/2 tsp crushed red peppers
1 Tablespoon honey (preferably local)
1 tsp white wine vinegar
pinch salt
2 Tablespoons butter
Simmer all ingredients till reduced by half. Remove from heat and add butter. Stir in until nice and silky. Serve over chicken or shrimp, or whatever you want.![]()
Asparagus Salad
2 bunches of asparagus, cut in thirds on diagonal, blanched for 1 to 2 minutes.
1 container feta cheese crumbles
Bacon ( I use a pound, but it's up to you
1/2 cup red onion, sliced thinly
1/2 cup mayo (or olive oil for a lighter salad)
2 Tablespoons good Dijon mustard
2tsp red wine vinegar
1tsp pepper
salt to taste
Blanch asparagus, then put in ice bath immediately to stop cooking. If you have a salad spinner, this is a great time to use it. You want to get as much water off the asparagus as possible.
Cut bacon into 1/2 to 1 inch pieces and cook to desired texture ( I like that perfect golden crispy texture)
Combine the mayo**, dijon, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper in large bowl. Add the rest of ingredients and gently toss to combine all ingredients.
**I have done this with extra virgin olive oil as well for a lighter salad.
When eating, try to get a little piece of everything in one bite - oh yeaahh!
