Anybody know of any available rental apartment/house space for garden.

This is harder then it looks lol... just moved. Had to find place with 200amp, open space, safeish area, privacy ect.

Oh yeah and i landlord who isnt there everyday for no reason trying to be nosy

Yeah beginning to find that out, ha. Any pointers on where/how to look? Did you just do the craigslist deal or?

Lucky for me ive rented my share of places lol... i knew bunch of landlords who were property owners an rent to me from previous occasions. Its rough cause once youe in there an setup if they have to come inside your screwed... if you ever driver by a property that looks like sat for alittle or in a "ok" neighborhood that likely wont sell. Call them an they usually rent it out... my new place i just got call from my landlord saying water company has to swap out meter! My meter is behind my 12x19 room with plants in it flowering... wtf

If you're looking to be west of the Providence metro (more towards CT) look at Chepachet, Coventry, or Hope, RI (the "town center" of Scituate). Coventry and Hope are close together, connected by Route 116. West Warwick is right there too but that's more east and more urban. The old factory towns have some nice old houses with large rooms, and they go for cheap money since its not exactly prime location now that most of the mills are closed now. Its sorta like being in town but also being out there a bit since you have the rivers flowing through town (where the factory is) and just beyond the village, its the woods.

If you can find an apartment on the first floor, you may get the basement area with it. There are also mill cottages which are pretty convenient, usually 3 bedrooms on each side of the duplex. If you want to be way way out in the sticks, it will be more expensive and fewer rentals to be found. Hope that helps!

Thanks Ricky and Brews. Yeah I have been looking at all those towns you have listed, I guess it's just get out there and check a whole bunch of apts out. It's funny though when they are going on about the nice kitchen amenities and new vanity and I'm checking out basements and electrical panels as incognito as I can be haha. So how do you feel about telling your landlord about what you are doing (albeit play the scale down some)? I feel that having the grow in a basement with the furnace and what not may pose a problem. The place that I am at now the landlord goes down there once or twice a year at least to do maintenance.

IMO, depends more on if you using it for small time growing for personal use or a pertetual setup... a perpetual setup then its something you put bunch of detail and money for permanent fidxtures ect... personal use then you possibly sit down with them AFTER they find out, as wont be huge setup. Also, you can get away with it for quite awhile before they know so when they do find out play dumb an say its legal and small setup so didnt think it was big deal and your a nice tenant who pays in their eyes so they may not be quick to boot you.

When water company comes in and sees an IF they contact landlord i will sit down with him an my card an tell him whats going on and put my cards on table cause i have alot of money into the place that cannot just be moved to new place. Also, cause if i dont he will kick me out anyways. Plus, i know him from before so he may be cool with it i think.
