Default Legal grower considering going to Rhode Island.

Hello everyone. This is my first post here but I am active in many other forums and have been legally growing marijuana in Nevada for over a year now. I joined over here because I like how the forums break up each state, and it seems to me that there are many active members.

My lease has just expired and I unexpectedly lost my job so I have a decision. I can either move to California to grow, or to Rhode Island.

I do not have any family in California, but I do know that a good grower can legally grow and make a modest profit by selling to dispensaries.

In Rhode Island, I have family I can stay with until I get a place of my own, but the rules on selling are unclear to me.

I am not looking to set up a huge grow house, just grow some for myself and maybe sell a pound or so a month to a dispensary or to patients.

Is this legal in Rhode Island? Are there any plans to open dispensaries there? If so what will be/are the rules on selling to them?

    Thanks everyone.

no rules what so ever to sell to dispensories. the plan is if your a patient you sign up to each individual dispensory of your choosing. Man Im with you i wish i could knock off a pound or 2 to a store evey now and then but thats not the case. What you can do is say hey I can grow I want clients and Ripac will set you up with some people that are real sick . Im doing that with a few people and we are helping people and in everyones eyes for 200.00 for a amazing ounce are paying the bills and getting by. But the reality is we are helping people over here and 200 a o is the most patients are paying. I am a pioneer alot of my local people arent gonna argee with the price... so u have to ask yourself do i make enough money from my job that in my hobby or 2nd job whatever you refer to it as will I be happy? This isnt cali but at the same time the property values arent as high as cali. I also want to make it clear to you, I like to grow and I like to help my fellow man. At 2 bills a o legally im happy , oh and caregivers over here can only have legally 5 patients apiece you come thru I walk you thru it . Will

As long as you don't have a record you are fine, it's finding patients that can be hard. A lot of patients want someone who has bud already

Hey Tamorin I agree with you a $200.oo a zip for oz. and yes. some will not agree but I will to that price. I have only the strains from Amsterdam seedbanks. I make darned sure that IF I were giving a $200.00 donation that my bud is what I would buy. I'm also spoiled rotten into smokin' my own because we are into "organics", ya see we have cancer in our family. So,needless to say I strive for certain things in my bud. Like tops in THC AND canabinoids. We need the pain relief, arthritic an joint pains and of course the chemo sickness that follows those treatments. I'm EDDy and outy-
