RI MMJ Advice and Consideration

Hi fellow RI medicinal users! Have gotten a lot from this site and glad to see that RI has it's own spot here. I have a spinal cord injury. MMJ has helped alleviate numerous direct and indirect complications from my condition for years. I have spoken with my pcp who has not been willing to sign off on my registration. Long story short, he was Navy trained and feels that as it is still not federally accepted, he is uncomfortable signing off. As such, I continue to maintain a small grow in attempts to keep myself in stock of medicine. I am writing for a couple things. First off, have been interested in attending a RIPAC meeting. Would it be a problem that I don't have a card? Also not sure if the location is wheelchair accesable? The other thing is, I like my PCP but feel like he's not going to budge on my request. Not sure of other options other than looking for a new doc? Any insight, help, and suggestions really apppreciated.

search neurologist in rhode island either in east providence or woonsocket for another doctor other than primary care . also You do show a card / license at meetings . wheelechair accesable is possible at some meeting sites .

Yeah man you deserve to have your medicine.If your doctor is unwilling there is a ist of doctors in R.I. that are already signing people up. The list is somewhere on the r.i. patient site on the this web page. Id find it for you but Im covered in my grow medium atm and its making me too ichy. If I get back on tonight I will look for you

i've been telling ya tam: you gotta switch to hydroton or at least coir... that steel wool crapola is really bad for you/ environment... reuse man! if you must go with hydro, get some hydroton...

I agree with ya. The thing was I knew it worked, so to garuntee great results i did what I was thaught now that ive made some of the investment back I can try other things. But believe it or not originally i bought hydroton and returned it when the teacher told me he used something else. Theres a video on utube where a michagan teacher does what i donewith hydroton, so I plan to. I havent got a alchol buxzz in like 3 weeks its time for some guinness sam adams and magic hat. How was the butter?

as always, fantastic... made some triple strength cookies, brownies and firecrackers... too delish... it's like they say: you've really gotta make sure to have non "medical" treats around for after or you'll be glued to the couch all week...

Thanks gang! It's all been very helpful. Gonna set up a consultation. I have been on the fence about getting the card. Partially concerns over a future rep. prez pulling state lists and raids...that kind of thing. But do think it's time to do my lil' it in standing up for what's right. I only have a small lil' cabinet and hopes for self sufficiency.
