    hi, I am in the planning stages of my grow as well.I combed through many articles finding different options and I came to the same conclusion as you octopot with a super soil setup. I was wondering why were you discouraged from using the super soil setup with the octopot?

    I haven't. I don't wanna use hydroponic nutes in my grow. I'm thinking of using the super soil with a 40% perlite mix at the bottom 2/3 of the grow sleeve and then fill the top third with fox farm soil. that way the seedling can develop in the regular fox farm soil and as it moves into flower it can grow down into the super soil. the recipe I'm using for the super soil is from the Cali green grow channel on youtube.
