up for debate. depends if the breeder started counting from flip or flowers appearing. some also lie to make the strain more appealing. most polyhybrids have so much variation anyway that 2 seeds could finish weeks apart. only way to know is run a strain multiple times or do a staggered harvest so u can decide for yourself.

a lot of it is preference also. most ppl wait til they get like 25% amber. I usually pull at first signs of amber no more than 5%.

my personal opinion is you can count from flip if your plants were sexually mature when you flipped them. they should start showing flowers within 7-10 days. which is why I like to take clones from the seed plant, and then flower the clones. this way I know they are ready to go by then.

I think sometimes when ppl grow from seed they are forcing the flip too early. the plant still needs that extra week or 2 to get ready, resulting in them pulling early or thinking a strain took 10 - 11 weeks if they judged based on trichs.

From seed or clone, start counting when your start seeing flower set.

I count from flip and ignore breeder timeframes completely.

It should be from when flowering actually starts, Different growing conditions can slow down how long everything takes, so there will
Be variation in ‘time’. Another way to do it is to add a week to what the breeder says. Those numbers are under ideal conditions.
