Obama is not in America's best interest. Ron Paul, or someone like him, is our best chance at saving America's sovereignty.

I hope you are enjoying the circus.

I agree with you, but you gotta understand that there are to many people out there that would not give him a chance.....the reason i was thinking this is due to the fact that the R & D canidates are pretty locked in and if Paul were to hold VP he would have a direct impact on policy and shit! Sadly i believe it would be the best chance we'd have to get Paul in a position to make a real difference.

Plus it would be an "across the aisle" Duo!! Bring people together, then we would be able to keep the Oval office in check. JMT

I'm pretty sure if Obama picked paul for VP, a percentage would desert the ship and vote McCain. I wouldn't mind that combo at all.

See their may be a small percentage that would but i have talked to so many younger people that said "oh well McCain is the R canidate so i'm not going to vote"
Well shit, I know of hundreds of people in my community that would vote for Paul, but may not vote at all b/c "their" canidate didn't make it.
There would be an influx of swing voters in Obama's corner, (or should i say Pauls)

Besides the next four years is going to be a reset for out country, IMO, and if people could see where Paul was coming from he may just have a chance!

That is something I never once considered. However, being as familiar with the good doctor as I am, I sort of doubt he would do well with Obama. Obama has already shown during his tenure in Illinois and now as senator that he is just as much for sale as the next guy. Ron Paul's integrity is too strong to cotton to that without some serious objections.

Sadly, I agree. Most Americans are too ignorant, naive, or just plain stupid to realize what's been going on in Washington. Washington feels the same way, which is why the politicians and the lobbyists make the policy of "whats best" for America.

Waffles: You HONESTLY think bipartisanship is alive and working? There is no such thing as Democrat or Republican; liberal or conservative. MONEY buys the Presidency; MONEY buys Washington.
From the Bush's own mouth: you're either with us, or AGAINST US.

Voting for someone else to enact "change" is going to bring change.
::jingles coins in pocket:: Hear that? That's the "change" you'll be getting come November. Pocket change.

Ok, I'm done ranting for the momment. I'm not trying to demean anyone, just expressing.

"I believe that corporations rob us for our dignity and independence, and these systems must be torn down, burned down, and destroyed by any means necessary.... but that's just one little bear's opinion!" - Uni-Boo Boo, Harvery Birdman
