I've been saying for years that we need to lift the embargo from Cuba.

Once the new generations have gotten a taste of the real world, the Cuban Government would not be able to control them and the Cuban form of Communism would collapse.

Its collapsing all on its own and has been for years.

Cuba is and was a communist slave state strictly run by Fidel Castro utilizing the heavy hand of his Secret Police. Had the embargo been lifted, the only beneficiaries would have been Fidel Castro and his cronies.

The markets in the Soviet bloc, including Russia, opened up AFTER the fall of the Soviet Union.
