Iraq denies IAF used its airspace

Israel Air Force (IAF) war planes are practicing in Iraqi airspace and land on US airbases in the country as a preparation for a potential strike on Iran, sources in the Iraqi Defense Ministry told a local news network on Friday.

The report, which was also carried by Iranian news outlets, claimed that recently massive IAF overnight presence was detected in several American held airbases.

Iraq denied on Friday reports claiming the Israeli Air Force has been practicing for a possible attack against Iran in its airspace.

According to the sources, former military officers in the Anbar province said IAF jets arrive during the night from Jordanian airspace, enter Iraq's airspace and land on a runway near the city of Hadita. The sources estimated the jets were practicing for a raid on Iran's nuclear sites.
The sources also said the American bases in Iraq might serve as a platform for the IAF from which to attack Iran. If Israeli warplanes will take off from Iraq, they can reach Bushehr in five minutes - a "record time," the sources said.

After reports of a massive IAF exercise over the Mediterranean surfaced several weeks ago, an Israeli official told the times that the drill was "the dress rehearsal" for an attack on Iran's nuclear sites. On Thursday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Israel was the "strongest country in the region." Sending a thinly veiled warning to Iran, Barak said Israel "has already proved it did not shy away in the past from acting when it fears its vital interests are at stake."

Yes Iran has a few friends like China & Russia. Especially Russia. Isreal must know that if they attack it will start WW3.

I feel the same way..

I just wish more Americans would WAKE up and realize this too, because the USA would gladly go to war, just like every other one. Its all about killing people and making the rich people richer. The rich people all have underground bases (that the US tax dollars paid for) just in case someone starts dropping NUKES, our cowardly politicians would have a place to flee to, and leave the rest of us to either die from the NUKE blast or radiation poison.

WE MUST NOT GO TO WAR WITH IRAN, IT COULD BE THE END OF THE WORLD, AS WE KNOW IT.

What gives us the right to invade Afghanistan, Iraq and potentially Iran! We have no right, and the other countries of the world know it. Its just that the stupid Americans think FOX news is their GOD, and if they say we should go to war, than they follow like pigs to a slaughter house.

all iran has to do to stop the attack is suspend thier nucleur program and stop publically saying they want to destroy isreal

i mean can you blame isreal, they are def not gonna sit back and do nothing. 1 or 2 nukes is all it would take to destroy that whole country of isreal. they wont sit back if this guy is openly planning to get nukes and somehow destroy them. iran is either stupid or planning some sort of crazy nucleur suicide mission

who knows? no country would ever take that as an answer, and since they are so intent on having nukes instead of prosparity and freindship and trade then maybe they really wanna do this, all of europe has pleaded with them and promised them great relations and trade and gifts

these nukes must be very important for some reason more important than the prosparity of thier own country and people

This is how it will happen...Iran will provoke Isreal(already happening)Isreal will give Iran a warning(already happened)Iran will return their message(already happened)Isreal will get the U.S. involved & prepare a strike(could be happening)after this point anything could happen. Russia is going to be in a tough position.

yea its kinda scary but conventional wisdom would say we would beat them pretty bad. we took iraq in three weeks, we could have just left after that and left them in chaos

the war with iran would be over in a month

i think they would just bomb them anyway like specifed targets and let them sort out the mess

it would be nice if they could topple the country gov, we did it once before but i guess thats what started this whole mess
