And neither did my wife when the cops showed up at our house and began a campaign of intimidation toward her. Luckily I work only 2 minutes from home. She called me, in a extremely distraught state, telling me the cops were here and scaring her and they wanted to take my stepson. I immediately drove over and began yelling to them to get the fuck off my property. They tried pulling shit with me asking me smugly "Who are you?" and when I told them that I was the owner of this property and unless they had a warrant they were violating our 4th Amendment constitutional rights to illegal search and seizure. They didn't like hearing that and reluctantly complied. They then changed up their story stating that they only wanted to "talk" with my stepson, who was here at the time. I told my stepson to stay in the house and told the cops that unless they had signed warrants they were not to set foot on my property.
Fucking cops think they can operate outside the Constitution and feel that if they intimidate citizens that they'll just roll over and comply...most do too. Even my wife afterwards said something to the effect that I was risking myself as they had guns and could do whatever they wanted. I told her that I didn't care as she was obviously scared and I wasn't about to let them get away with it.
This isn't a white/black issue...It's an issue where our supposed law enforcement ("To Serve and Protect"...yeah right) operate outside the law to intimidate people and blatantly violate
ANYONE'S rights.
