Right... I didn't tell MM what to believe, but rather "maybe you should take heed". But to not have your own opinions and NOT able to voice your opinions without fear of malice, is unAmerican. Not an attack at all. UTI saw your sincerity, as did I. However, I have seen you agree with some pretty outlandish, in my opinion of course, concepts while I browse. To agree with everyone is to agree with no one. No contempt, only a suggestion to consider.

being ignorant usually gets all the wrong people placed in power and it is quite obvious that ignorance is running rampant in our society. no matter how loudly the siren is sounded, the ignorant will never be able to see beyond their own noses. they seem to be incapable of understanding that the actions of today are less important than the results further down the path. the "big bad bogyman" is power and the all too human desire to possess more of it than we are entitled to.

as i have said before, i am a legend in my own mind and i prefer to keep it that way. if i had a nickel for every manuscript page i've ever burned, i'd be a relatively wealthy man. the way i write and speak is the rather unfortunate outcome of being the hippie grandson of a baptist preacher, but i do appreciate the occasional praise. thanks.

Well, again I didn't mean to call you a rascist, but that line has been so misused against everyone it slipped by me. I do agree with you on most things, And I'm pretty sure you're right about not much difference in the party line, well except that psycho McCain, who would have us in WWIII in a heartbeat. But I will disagree with the comment about me following the party line. I have almost as many disagreements with the democrats as republicans. I just feel that the middle class has always fared better under the Democrats. I am not for free lunches for everyone, but would definently like to see the playing field leveled. As for Obama, if there ever were to be hope, then this is it. What will unfold is anyones guess, I guess I'm somewhat of an optimist, even if it has no validity.

I gotcha, I hope your right. I hope Obama is right for the country and world. I really do.. I hope whomever gets elected has integrity and is working for the people and is not some puppet that does as he is told from the upper echelon of "Elitists" that run the show behind the scenes.

Obama is related to Bush AND Cheney though!! Go figure.

Do you guys know that the only two presidents that weren't Freemasons were Lincoln and Kennedy? (At least I think that is a fact.) And we all know what happened to them. Doesn't that strike you guys as odd (and sad)?

I try and have an open mind. My "outlandish" concepts that I might post about from time to time is me exploring my mind. Just because something is outlandish doesn't make it wrong. Popular belief isn't always true.

I sometimes put my self out there for purpose of debate, but I also don't (try and) reject any logical argument not in my favor. If someone is right, than I thank them for shedding some light to my effulgence. (sometimes I too need constructive criticism)

No one or nothing is infallible, but setting boundaries on ones self for fear of being wrong is lame. I chose to let my mind take me where it wants to go, and then I decide my opinions after peer review. (Maybe I'm deep/profound? HAHA)

I'm learning every day.

is it negative for me to state that the road the liberal leadership has pointed us down has always ended in tyranny for those who have traveled it before? ms. waters was correct in her mistaken use of the word "socialize"; socialism is the path they would lead us on and it has never led to freedom, only oppression. a workable definition of insanity is to perform the same actions over and over again, expecting a different result each time. this is the delusion that the followers of the left are laboring under.

the theory was proposed that socialism could be considered a transitory state which would lead to ultimate freedom for the workers once control had been handed over to them, but that has been disproved by history. freedom is never given, it can only be earned. we can sit here with our fingers crossed, hoping against all reason that brak will somehow manage to turn water into wine, or we can admit that the experiment has already been performed and that it was a miserable failure.

Why did the Nazis hate Jews so much anyways? I've met some cool Jews.. They are people just like the rest of us, in my honest humble opinion.

Every totalitarian government needs an internal enemy in order to rouse the people to collective action and to be subservient to the God-State. In Nazi Germany it was the Jew, Gypsy, Catholic, homosexual and the infirmed. Here in this country its the White Christian Male, the achiever, the drug user and now those with too large of a "carbon footprint." Oh and I forgot ... in Med's mind, the "rich Jew."

Politics is a funny game, eh?

It seems like the middle easterners (aside from Israel) are the new Jews, don't you think? Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran (and who knows who is next) are the enemy of the USA. If the people don't have anyone to fear, how is Haliburton, the munitions and infrastructure rebuilding complex going to profiteer from war? Who owns these companies anyways?
