Personally, I think McCain has a better chance than most of you have indicated here. After all, the nitty-gritty hasn't started yet. There's going to be a LOT of negatives coming out about O'Bama.

I just can't believe that Americans would be so dumb that O'Bama would win by a landslide. So far, no one has asked him what he intends to "change."

That question is definitely off limits, for the time being. It will, at some point, have to be addressed, and personally, I can't wait. It should be a real hoot. As for the 50/50, I think that might hold true to the very end. Although, I pray this scenario is analogous to McGovern's defeat. Either way we're screwed.

Hey its all about predicting now. Waiting till something comes up that gives away the results aint no fun. I saw some stuff about Mccain today that made me think hes got no chance. Before i was thinking the US is fucked up and anything is possible but now if theres any good left then the O man will win.

The Democrats are going to continue to hammer on the "Change" platform. McCain will hammer on O'Bama's lack of experience and national security issues. Once the "change" platform turns out to be more of the same, then I think ccodiane's comment about McGovern could very well come true. Americans in general are not ultra leftists ... but more somewhere in the middle.
