Let me know how that is going when you're 71,~LOL~. I doubt most people are ever ready to die, well there is suicide of course for those that have given up.

George Burns was once asked: "Who wants to live to be 100 anyway, George?" Burn's answer was: "A guy who's 99."

Carlin told truth to power for as long as I can remember. As true a patriot as I have ever seen! I remember him singing the praises of long hair when it was distinctly unfashionable. "Where it down to Thar- if you DARE!!!"

I was completely shocked and in awe that this happened... I'm only 19 and have been following George Carlin since I found out about him. He was actually the person who got me thinking about social, religious, and government hypocrisy in our world today. That set me on a path to who I am today and I feel I am a lot better off than I was before I heard about George Carlin. He was my inspiration to educate myself about most things in my life and I thank him for it.

I hope he felt like he had made the world a better place before he passed because he really did. He informed his audience while making them laugh their asses off. He was the best at what he did. Lenny Bruce and George Carlin. My two favorite comedians. He will be greatly missed.
All statements, claims and photos are completely fictional in nature. Yay photoshop!

I loved Carlin's take on the Catholic Church.

He took issue with the rules on sin being changed. For example, it was once a sin to eat meat on a Friday. Now its OK. Carlin said he often wondered "how many people are in Hell on a meat rap."

He had a brilliant message behind the laughter.
We were his palette and he was our plato, socatres, shakespeare.
I'm still very sad about his passing, we lost someone who can not be replaced.
We got to see history in the making.
Great men say that as along as they can change just one mind, it's all been worth it.
    -I got the message george.
