Yup, war is hell. Lots of anger happens when you see one of your buddies get hit. Our government must demonize the enemy (Whomever they are) to prepare the soldiers to start the killing. I (Luckily) never had to take anothers life, but at the time, the Viet Namese, (Charlie, Gooks, Slopes dinks) were demonized. They try and de-humanize them. They would do the same if we were made the enemy, (terrorists)..

The U.S.A. has very, very strict rules of engagement. These "cases" are very few and everyone involved or accessory to should be tried in a military court immediately. This is a true shame to the men and women of our great military to be defaced by a few individuals (yes thats right, a few) who "vent their frustration" by shooting civilians. That is unacceptable on all fronts regardless of casualty your company has sustained.

There is a gray area however. What if your convoy was ambushed in the street and after a brief exchange the attackers fled off and you see a civilian who is known to be an informant and you know they support the terrorists and you know they know where they can be found. Are they the same as the enemy? I'll leave that question to everyone.

Why would I answer to such a retarded question. In fact I've already mentioned I had the highest firing range score in my batallion. so you know I'm a good shot. most times when attacked, we never saw charlie, just some gunfire from the bushes which the guy on the 50 returned promptly, mowing down trees and bushes in the immediate area. I was in ordnance, the supply part of war, but, everyone is infantry first. I fired into the bushes, never got anyone in my sights, so to be truthful, I really don't know if I killed anyone, I did see the results of AK47 fire a few times though, and mortar attacks that came on a regular basis. All the while slackers like Vredd were sitting home on their dead asses.
