I believe they can. For example, the major auto manufacturers are developing Hibrid cars, electric cars and fuel cell hydrogen cars. Oil companies have developed much cleaner methods of exploration and drilling. Oil shippers have developed much safer hull designs for their tankers.

Now its up to the religious environmentalist zealots to give in a little. Energy companies WANT to build new nuclear plants, hydro electric dams and new refineries.. They WANT to develop shale coal for oil, drill offshore and in Alaska. They are blocked at every turn by the environmentalist and their lackeys in the American Socialist Party (Dems). If nothing changes the dollar will continue to decline, fuel prices will continue to soar and America will be at a huge disadvantage in the global business community.

Its time to throw the bums like Maxine Waters, Henry Waxman, Charles Schumer and Diane Feinstein out on their collective(ist) ears.

I was just watching our Prime Minister in Germany, There, there is a booming, almost silicone valley, sort of rush to be leaders in the environmental field. The problem is the blotted profiteer's of the Status quo......why chage when your lobbyists can sabotage any movement in that direction...Look at the use of food grains for fuel, just so the speculators can profit in the markets.......Who uses food for fuel........unbelievable .

I'd like to see a real study on climate changes. one that could be done by objective scientific team and no government involvement. the problem is that scientist are always looking for government funding and government is always looking for someone of good credentials to back up what they say.
