If you go to sites like CNN they are various factions employing Sock Puppets and Bots. Some of these guys have dozens of personas and they run them 4 at a time to get the bandwagon effect going. If a poster irritates them too much and shouting them down doesnt work they flag the post until it is auto removed.

The easyest ones to spot are the ones from stormfront as they all have "knight" in their nicks. The FAIR/CIS ones are mostly bots but will respond occasionally. The right wing ones are the worst and most devious. Those are the ones using persona management software.

For some reason the Right wing sock puppets have been quiet this past weekon CNN. Must be vacation time or they were told to stand down
