| | I agree that the oil prices are placing a hardship on most people, especially the poor. Because of supply/demand problems, its not going to get better anytime soon. In fact, its going to get much worse. Some are predicting $10 to $15 per gallon gas in the future. So, what better time for our government liege lords to stand aside, reduce regulations, allow domestic drilling, allow refineries to be builT, start building nuclear plants, start producing coal-for-liquid energy, and give the free market it's head and let it roll? Both parties are responsible for our dependence on foreign oil ... but the Democrats are the most to blame. Yes, the Democrats ... the same assholes who are sitting in the Senate right now, brow-beating the oil executives over the high gasoline prices. How stupid is that? Vi

Vi | The democrats eh? are you sure it's not those stinkin commies. It couldn't have anything to do with Bush and his cabinet being linked to oil men now could it? Or maybe that the senate minority will not allow a democrat bill to pass. Naw, couldn't be that.

Go back into the congressional record to see which party has presented bills to free us from our dependency on foreign oil, and which party has squelched the idea. Time to get a haircut, take of the tie-dyes and the Birkenstocks. In case you haven't noticed, oil is now over $130 a barrel. My Way News - Oil climbs to record above $135 Vi

| | Who cares who is to blame! Let us worry on finding and implementing remedies to fix the problems. Let us start some kind of anti gasoline REVOLUTION. Let us demand alternative fuels, let the oil companies lose their monopoly that they have on us- by the balls.
Spread truth about hydrogen power. If we did as I proposed we would save billions of dollars over seas to the middle east and let us prosper our country with new jobs and saved revenue. |

| | Yes, we should demand alternate fuels. We should be exploring the use of wind power, coal power, hydrogen power, nuclear power. But in the short run, our entire economy runs on oil. So ... lets remove the onerous regulations and start drilling the hell out of it. Vi

It's just like you to try and shove this off on the democrats, good try, but no cigar. I'm surprised with all your money that you should be concerned at all. Whats 5-10 bucks a gallon to you, small change. Remember when Bush took office, Gas was 1.20 a gallon. He's trippled it ++!
