I went to Border's Book Store yesterday and picked up a copy of Ron Paul's book titled: "The Revolution; a Manifesto." I highly recommend the book to those who post here in the forum. The last part of the book covers our monetary system and the Federal Reserve. Everything Americans need to know about our scam money system is spelled out in simple, understandable terms. Please ... at least read through it on your next trip to the book store.

Here's a good review of the book, both pro and con:

However, the review doesn't say anything about how RP covers the Federal Reserve in the book. His exposure of the FED takes up about a quarter of the book and is just great.
One Idea that I'll share is this: Ron Paul points out that we have been deluded to believe that inflation is rising prices, when rising prices are just a symptom of inflation. Actually, inflation is brought about by increasing the money supply, which the FED does out of thin air. Interesting stuff, especially if one hasn't been exposed to these ideas before.

Whatever. The thing is: We the people have been being screwed for so long there is no turning back. Even if the impossible were to happen and Paul got elected to POTUS, things would not change because the congress is bought and paid for. Here is the real scenario; the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, day by day. Without a true peoples revolution there will be no changes to the system, it is too well entrenched.
So we can all argue about who will be the best president and it matters not. The real divide is between rich and poor, a class divide. Politics is just the rhetoric designed to keep us down.
