Because so many doctors are willing to trade their private practices in for the opportunity for their state to tell them how to be a doctor, moreso than they already do with regulations within their private practice?
Yeah, I can see the doctors for miles lining up for that.
Maybe someday the government will try and take over my line of work, and I can trade my private practice in for an opportunity to work for the state. Gee, I can't wait.

Many European nations have a similar system and better health statistics. Americans tend to believe that we are #1 in science, medicine, and education but actually we are unhealthy, overweight, poorly educated by comparison. Maybe that will be an incentive....MORE PATIENTS?
I think lifestyle contributes more to that than the actual health care system does.
Otherwise, why would so many people require the service of health care in the first place?
So what I'm getting out of this is, Americans are dumb, overweight and lazy, only more money from tax payers to implement Obamacare will get them up and off their fat lazy asses so they can join a gym, go back to school and eat healthy foods!
Only a dumb fucking liberal could come up with something this totally absurd.

You take facts well. They are what are. "By comparison" is saying what you are not getting.....simply that there are other, more advanced nations than we assume we are. Eating healthier, exercising, and information will reduce the cost of Obamacare it seems. Less coronaries, strokes, diabetes, and cancer for example. Doctors under Obamacare may have more to work with in the US. Most people are dumb, most Americans are overweight, and lazy is calling someone a "dumb fucking liberal" rather than actually have a discourse. I am not impressed by your glib solutions....they wouldn't work.
