Med ...

In another thread, you've made the promise that you would leave the site. I'm hoping you will keep that promise.

I expect that a certain peaceful calmness will prevail in the forum once you've gone. I suspect that the political forum will gain much from your leaving, namely, respect for others and a non-bullying approach to our political discussions. Reason will prevail. Hate will subside. Personal attacks will end. Physical threats will stop. All of this sounds really great to me.

Finally, I won't miss you one iota. You've been a real bore.

Vi', this very thread shows just how much you adore the medster. I think there would be a big piece of you missing were he to leave. I mean when med' says he's going to kill you, I don't think he really means it, besides he doesn't know where you live.

Who else could you find on this site so willing to argue with every post you submit? Think of the entertainment value you'll be losing.

Good point, and I've thought about that over the past 24 hours. The problem is ... Med is a verbal abuser with a serious anger problem. Every thread gets taken off topic by the guy. He's just not a good citizen in the forum. There are a few things I'll miss with him gone, but on balance, the benefits of him leaving for good far out-weighs the very few positives if he returns. I've been posting on various cannabis sites for over six years now ... and Med has the most negative, argumentative and threatening persona of anyone I've met so far. Personally, I hope he just stays away. Just take a look at how calm the forum is now. Nuff said ...

Yeah, I tend to agree with Vi's take on med....it has nothing whatsoever to do with his predominately left leaning political sympathies; his consistent boorishness is the source of irritation and tedium....
Ad hominums get real old, real fast, if that is all you have in your arsenal of ideas....med seems to inevitably reduce serious topics to nasty personal assaults.....too bad, because he can be entertaining and colorful in his posts!
If he stays away I will miss him, but look forward to more civility here.
Much more constructive.....and engaging….IMHO!

Med' was (is?) a funny guy that hung around the political threads threatening to kill everyone. Medicineman, was his full handle.

I'm Back. And the threats were comedy at best. I'm probably the least violent person on this site. Damn you actually believed I wanted to kill people, amazing.
