So, basically, any amount that shows up is sufficient to charge you with DUI. Seems like the pigs (Cops) would be going for that bust, just drag you in and make you piss or take a blood test. I'm sure they are looking for a field test to rip you on. Geeze, I always thought I drove better stoned. never got a ticket or had an accident while stoned. Pretty much was aware of all the speed limits and followed them. Now I always drive 10 over or more on the interstate. Gotta watch out for those school zones though. Back in my Heydays, I droive drunk and stoned a lot, Once when leaving a party in Jerome Az. and driving through Clarksdale to my brothers pad, I was drunk and stoned on Pot and LSD, I mean I was wiped. I saw this asshole cop sitting in a vacant lot watching for traffic, It was late at night and I was the only car on the road, I knew he was going to stop me so I went the exact speed limit. I had 50 hits of LSD and a pound of pot behind the seat of my pickup. I knew if I didn't play this right, I was going to jail for a long time. I got right into the LSD High and sobered up quick. When he stopped me, I jumped out of my truck and approached him as he came towards me with a salvo of what the heck is wrong with you. I was going the exact speed limit. you actually think I didn't see you sitting there, do you think I'm stupid enough to speed when you are radaring me. why are you picking on me. Now this was a redneck cop and I was this long haired hippy looking dude. I expected to go to jail, but the tirade that I layed on him took him so much aback that he figured I must be straight. He said he was just checking and I could go, Man was that a relief. In Az. at that time, I'd have gotten 20 years for the LSD trafficking, and 5 for the lb. of pot, my lucky day indeed.

very cool seamaiden!!!!! sounds like you have some killer equipment(the stuff isn't cheap by any means) pleasure diving is always a ball, i used to be amazed by the fact of being weightless- its as close to out of space as you get!! you were saying you i used to LOVE diving when i first started. after doing it day in and day out it can get mundane, plus my line of work was VERY arduous.

diving was my job a few years ago. i have approximately 1000 tanks under my belt. i would basically live underwater for half the day i would normally spend about ~6 hours a day diving around, but these were not conventional leisure pleasure dives. i would usually be under 15-20ft so i didnt have to worry about decompressing- i would also take a lunch break inbetween my second and last dive.

ohh and btw, call me crazy but in my line of work i wouldnt use fins, take a snorkel, or carry an octopus(even though i have one, it was just cumbersome.. i was usually diving in less than 25ft 90% of the time anyways) i would strap on about 40 pounds of lead around my wast along with a big huge 110CF low pressure steel tank yea shes a big one. i also have 3 aluminum 80's... so with all that weight i was wearing, i would literally walk on the bottom of the ocean

OMG, that must have been AWSOME!! especially seeing 75 feet with all sorts of exotic animals in all directions in my line of work, i would be lucky to have 10 feet of visibility!! when pleasure diving locally on a good day i would be able to see ~25ft..... i love catching lobsters, i once caught a 10.3 (i weighed it) pound lobster while pleasure diving, and i missed a bigger one... this bigger one was probably 15 pounder (IT WAS HUGE!!!!!!!!) or so!! she was quite bigger than the 10 pounder i caught, you can imagine how big she looked underwater!!! anyways she had her own little cave kinda in the middle of no where, it was just on lone HUGE boulder and she had her bug burrow underneath.. i was trying to catch her just for fun, but this one had a very protected spot and i wasn't willing to let a 15# lobster break my hands i did try though, but it was too intense for me with her baseball glove sized claws snipping at me... i have many other stories as well, but i dont want to write a novel right now. heheheh...ahhh, good times, good times...

That's exactly why our oldest boy decided against diving as a job in the Navy, he enjoys it far too much and once it's a job the enjoyment goes down greatly. I experienced the same thing after getting into aquatics and working the trade, now I couldn't care less if I never have another aquarium of my own again. What did you do that you were diving every day?

I bought the expensive equipment used from the divemaster in Bali. so we got really good prices on everything. It's sturdy, so warranties aren't really an issue.

40LBS OF LEAD??? Now it's your turn to tell. Jesus, how'd you get back out of the water? Good Christ, I have trouble with one 80 aluminum tank (should have seen me trying to get in and out of the water in Tulamben on those fucking ankle-breakers).

under water i have carried as much weight as ~300lbs(not including my own weight of course). that weight includes my lead, tank, bc(about 5 lbs), and two bags of product(~100lbs each)... when your carrying that much weight you can pretty much walk straight as if you were on land... you burn air a lot quicker that way...

once i got to the shore i would dump my tank, bc, weights, and go back to get the 100lb bags. i would usually take in one at a time for obvious reasons, sometime a bag and a half or ~150lbs.. this is were being built like bricks helps the job get done

The SCOTUS hears actual legal cases, not legislation. And, they have the option to approve each and every case they will hear, and most cases, even some VERY good ones, they tend to refuse and leave to the District Circuit courts. However, unless you're referring to something else, in this situation the SCOTUS would have nothing to rule on.
