I think you should really take a class in economics, The real reasons the economy is fucked are many, here's a few: Bush is spending more than he takes in, due to a couple of reasons, ;1 Tax cuts for the wealthiest 2%, 2 the unnecessary war in Iraq./ Then you have the corporations laying off thousands, the cost of everything (especially Medical) going up faster than wages, and yes, the influx of millions of illegal immigrants taking jobs from the lower end of the American workforce. This is something corporations love as it brings the price of labor down accross the board. Here is the Key word in illegal immigrants, ILLEGAL, this means in case you don't know it, NOT LEGAL. So lets start from there. If you want to participate in our wonderful country and have all the benefits we have, then start by coming here legally. Then continue on by learning our language and culture. Get an education and move up the ladder. We have enough dumb asses here already without bringing 20+ million uneducated illegals here. It sounds like you are legal by proxy, but non-theless legal so I am not tirading against you, but hey you tell me, what are all the American uneducated supposed to do for work. When I was young, you could always get a job in construction, paid pretty well also. Now, all construction jobs in my area are owned by illegals, and the going wage is half of what it was. This is why I say the corporations love them, more work for less money, the plutocratic way!

I got to say that I am done with this topic. I agree that people should enter here legaly. I do. I also agree that to be a good American you should know how to speak and write the language. Yet, it seems like a lot of home grown Americans can't speak the language or for that matter write it. What the f%^&* should we do with those idiots? rooster i agree with you... the assholes that are to lazy in this country to do anything and sit and collect welfare... and just to clear this up i'm talking about all races and creeds... and they sit and collect medical benefits and they don't do a damn lick of work... that is just freakin sad... i say to deport their good for nothing asses right along with the illegals... we don't need anymore good for nothings in this country otherwise the crime rate will continue to rise and eventually our economy will hit rock bottom because no one is working to pay into the gov. and everyone is sitting on their lazy asses collecting from the gov. and the gov. will just continue to dish out money because it would be wrong to let this scum of society starve to death...
