| | Is it just me? | | Or are presidential elections starting to seem like a choice between a giant touche and a turd-sandwich?
Bush was a fuck-up. Al Gore is retarded. Kerry couldn't make a single fucking decision and stick with it. Hilary is satan. Obama would get assassinated for being black. McCain is another Bush waiting to happen.
We can't win.

We need to END this Electoral College BULLSHIT and instate a POPULAR VOTE! We don't stand a chance in hell of ever getting an Independent who supports decriminalization of marijuana without a popular vote system.
Sure the Libertarian Party is growing... but OHHHH SO SLOWLY... and they are no where near close to competing with the Big 2.

No-one in the presidential race is going to legalize pot. Ron Paul said he would consider it but after all the opposition from congress would roll in, he'd have to capitulate. The US has treaties all over the world banning Marijuana cultivation, sales and consumption. What do you think would happen if they suddenly legalized it? Billions of dollars would be lost, Law enforcement would be paralyzed. It's a no Brainer. the best you can hope for is Medical and maybe local decriminalization, but legalization, not likely. |

| | How would billions be lost? Because a banned substance is now grown legally and sold and taxed where it can be? That makes no sense. If pot was legalized, so would hemp. Not only would the government make billions off pot alone but they would make trillions JUST from hemp and the research that needs to be put into it.

| | It is true our country pushed for it to be banned in other countries. just another example of our being the bully on the block.

And I never, ever, referred to you as a "stinking" commie. Just an ordinary commie. Vi

Once the campaigning for the election starts ... there will be no more softballs. Vi
