Anyone else seen Gen Wesley Clark spinning for O on the debate floor today? I'm guessing he is going to look and sound like Chris Mathews by the end of this evening. This could be quite a train wreck![]()
I had actually spent time with the man in DC following his return under Clinton. The man has had an incredible and honorable career. I know personally that he is in fact a good family man. Even from small talk I always walked away reminded the man was a Rhodes Scholar. This fact also allowed for a relationship with Clinton that directly benefited the JCS we were working for at the time. That said, his involvement in the Waco incident disturbs me to this day. I'm not sure how this is going to wash out for him personally, he is just not a political animal![]()

maybe if koresh stopped backing out of every agreement he made and didn't set his own compound on fire after firing on federal agents serving a warrant, things might have gone differently.
but then again, religious gun nuts from texas aren't known for having good sense.
Ah yes UB has watched the debate ...
How did you like O's response to the current size and readiness of our Navy? O actually said that Mitt did not understand that we have submarines and aircraft carriers ... Is that not clearly absurd to defend the inadequacy of ship numbers by describing a couple of those ships in question? Am I missing something here, or is the US population as dim as O must expect (UB aside of course)?

UB do you not have a problem with using military operators as LEO here in the US. Does our constitution not address this problem?!? Would you really want me showing up at your home to execute an LEO warrant?
