The first Wiki page was killed because the original posting illerate Philly misspelled the word paraphernalia. Someone caught it and it now directs you to the same, but different, page.

I have to wonder what is going on over there in Philly. This legislation was campaigned for in October of 2005. It was introduced to and voted on in the city Council in May of '06. It was signed into law 1/23/07 and became effective immediately.

Then someone dimwit with nothing better to do signs up on RIU in February 2007 just to say "HELP!!" with their first post only to be never heard from again. They should have been asking for help 3 years ago.

Sorry for the rant but it's my opinion that the moderators should yank this thread. If the Phillys don't realize that MacGyver could make a bong out of a piece of dryer lint and a AAA battery, there's nothing the rest of America can do for them. Especially when they wait until AFTER the legislation has passed.

marijuana enforcement is a jobs program and revenue generating source for the expansion of government and contraction of liberty. "They" can make up and apply the rules as they see fit. That is painfully obvious.

The sad thing is those who personally have no interest in marijuana often do not realize that ignorant complicity on their part of the draconian enforcement is really undermining their own freedoms in other areas. Freedom means permitting others the right to do what they wish, even if it's not your thing, as long as people harm nobody. Anything short of that is a rationalization and will (has) lead to unintended consequences and eventually loss of something that everybody values.

marijuana enforcement is a tool to control, one of many. Legal hypocrisy has been the norm so long...sad.
