Valid photo identification is required for the things that follow: adopt a pet purchase a home purchase an automobile purchase a gun voter fraud obtain a bank account obtain a credit card obtain a passport write a check make a credit card purchase apply for a loan to purchase anything to prove your age to get married to receive a marriage license to drive to buy a house to close on a house to get medical care to get on a plane to get insurance on anything to get a job to get a post office box to get a hunting license to get a fishing license to get a business license to cash a paycheck rent an apartment rent a hotel room rent a car rent furniture rent tools and equipment receive welfare receive social security receive food stamps buy cigarettes buy alcohol buy a bus ticket buy a cell phone buy any antihistamine go in to a casino go in to a bar go to college have your water turned on have your electricity turned on have your cable turned on have your gas turned on obtain trash pick up service pick up a package from the post office pick up a package from fed ex pick up a package from ups pick up a prescription Things you do not have to have ID for: Vote. Having some form of photo ID is essential in our world today; you need to be able to prove you are who you say you are in countless situations. Why do liberals say it is racist to require identification to vote? By this same logic all these things listed here, as well as all the things I neglected to mention that require an ID to participate in are racist. Everyone sees straight through this, even the liberals that are accusing others of being racist. Liberals have set up countless organizations to cast illegal votes on their behalf and a ID verification would throw a huge monkey wrench into their plans to steal as many elections as possible through voter fraud. Remember ACORN in 2008? We do. Update! Attorney General Eric Holder, who formerly made the claim that it was racist to require proof of identity before voting and filed suit against all states instituting voter ID legislation, now claims it would put an undue restraint on college students. News Flash! Eric, you have to provide a photo ID to enter college, you should know that since you claimed to have gone yourself. After providing this ID and enrolling in classes you posed for a picture for your student ID which is also accepted as a valid ID for voting. All college students have a photo ID. My grandma hasnt had a valid ID in the last 18 years
She dont need none of that
But she cant vote because her drivers license expired?

Oh and BTW
The states that passed the ALEC sponsored voter ID laws
DOnt accept College IDs

sounds like you threw out a lot of private industry standards; the government doesn't force my work to ask for an ID for customers to write a check; and if you don't want to show us your ID, you don't have to; there's cash and credit to choose from.

but if you want to vote, and you don't have an ID... what's your choice for the alternative? That's right, you miss out.

Oh and mentioning liquor stores and such IDing for liquor and smokes; um yeah they aren't checking your name or address, just our DOB... doubt that's going on at voting polls.

I dont remember showing my ID when getting my electricity turned on
I go to the casino couple times a year and have never been asked for a ID
Same with cable
Im going to pick up a prescription in a hour
called it in over the phone
They will hand it over to me without a id or even my insurance card
my bank doesnt ask for my id either

Now lets talk about Vote fraud

How many cases of actual vote fraud have their been that are not felons voting in the last 30 years
Must be evidence of it on a massive scale
Can you post a list of prosecutions?

rollin you left out voting in democratic primaries. They had to show ID to do this too. Nobody complained then. I don't buy this outrage, they are just afraid they are going to lose an election, the righteousness is window dressing. The righteousness was non-existent when they were not allowed to cheat against each other.

i've never had to show id when i've voted.. i'm really going to pay attention this year if i remember right, but all i remember doing is walking in with that paper they send to you in the mail that has my name on it and the candidates names..
sometimes i don't even have that and just walk in and tell them my name and they look it up on the big list of names for my district.. no id ever asked for..

Which is fucked up
Because I need a ID to vote
But i dont need a ID to be required to go to jury duty
So I cant vote if I dont have a ID
But they use the voter registration info to demand I come to court and serve on a jury selection

Aside from purchasing a firearm, not a single thing you list is a right. An unabridged right is one where there are no qualifiers. ID is a qualifier.



Of course you post that same straw man ACORN, which has nothing to do with voter fraud. Your mentioning of Student Id is inaccurate in some states because in those states they don't accept Student ID as voter ID.

Show us these "countless organizations" that are designed to cast illegal votes. After you have done that, show us how they couldn't as easily get fake Id.

What you have posted here is what I was talking about in the other post - you have been provided every talking point and not given any rebuttal to the actual fact that innocent voters are being kept from the polls. Republicans can't actually address that travesty and they would rather run you around in circles with Panthers and ACORN.
