McCain wanted to bomb soviet ships that were unloading arms in vietnamese port cities during the vietnam war. bombing soviet ships back then probably could have started nuclear war. McCain and his chronies thought their civilian commanders were complete idiots for not bombing the soviet ships.. McCain isnt the optimol pres but much better then a clinton or Obama as pres.I am the same he wasnt so bad but he now is soft on illegal immigrants and miltary so he wont be starting any war thats for sure. He wants to pull out and stop hunting for terro groups.
