Being a gun owner and enthusiast, I deplore any attempt to remove our 2nd amendment rights. I have long been interested in finding a country close by (Central America), where all the rights we enjoy are also applicable. Costa Rica seems tenable, but the abject poverty in the cities seems too dangerous to abide. The Drug infested paint huffing youth are up to violent persuasions to obtain drug money and the banditos in the rural zones make it a pretty dangerous environment. I'm thinking Idaho and putting up with all the white supremests may be safer. Idaho will be pretty hard to remove the guns from, and they have little pockets of decent weather, Banana belts.

No they are not talking about the 2nd ammendment they are going to secede becuase of the terms Montana became a state- Montana Compromise- which allows anyone to own a firearm and therefore taking that right would be breaking terms in which they became a state.

I get sick to my stomach when the dem's push for gun control. Its another step to disarming the populace.

I've had many arguments over the second amendment, how I have perceived it was that the founding fathers were overthrowing their government (the british monarchy) and they knew, if it ever happens that the government that they are setting up became to powerful and controlling, it is responsibility of the people to do the same.

The right to bare arms is for militias.

However some believe it is simply for hunting and personal defense. Or want to play it off as so.

I'm not all gunho for revolutions and anarchy, but I feel a little safer knowing that we have to power to do it if it ever was necessary.

It is necessary now.
