What Kind of Vehicle Do You Drive

Shouldn't this thread be in the politics section?

Those who drive foreign cars support those other countries.

I had an Oldsmobile but because of traitors, GM no longer makes them. My second choice, Pontiac, doesn't exist either.

American steel is the strongest alloy. Maybe if our government didn't cater to our competitors, like other countries do, most cars would be American. Then our cars would become better. Most other countries, foreign cars are a luxurt, not the norm.

I drive a grey 2007 Ford Taurus. It is a 6 cylinder, 4 door, power windows and locks. I get descent gas mileage for a 6 cylinder, but I wish I had a hybrid. I hate spending about a $100 on gas every week just to get back and forth from work and running other necessary errands. I'm a pretty big guy at 6"1' and 220 lbs., so I have to have a car where I can be comfortable driving with someone my size in the back seat directly behind me.

Yeah, I don't see why they moved this thread out of the politics section, especially when the link itself says "politics" LOL

On the other hand, I figured out that UncleBuck started whining to admin and got it moved.
I never have liked little whiny snitches!

What if you are a really awesome dude, like the coolest dude on the planet... but i only make enough money to buy a super shitty car?

I don't think what type of car reflects who you are, just how much money you make and are willing to spend.

without the willys Bantam engine, and the chrysler 225 slant six your list fails.

those honda and toyota engines are ok, but aluminium blocks and heads melt like pudding in the desert heat. the prosche engines are decent but the parts cost a packet and teardown is needlessly complicated.

on topic:

1963 Dodge Dart GT, 1990 Yamaha Virago 750 and a 991 nissan longbed.

yeah i know, whatcha gonna do? all the american trucks around that time were crap. the nissan had the leg room a growing boy needs and sufficient power, ground clearance, and capacity for my needs. cost almost half what the american trucks were running at the time too. fuck detroit.

my bike has so many new parts on it it's 2/3 american made by now.

ive heard it said that your car/truck is an attempt to compensate for your penis.
i ride a schwinn when im home.
i compensate for my penis by adjusting it's angle of dangle, and by wearing looser pants. and manual adjustment before i jump on my motorcycle, or sit on a bar stool. my car never even comes into the equation.
