so we have 45 million or so people between age 15 and 65 paying no income taxes out of 310+ million, about 15%.
add together the unemployed, disabled, stay at home moms and dads, college students, and trust fund babies, and we see that we have a very small number of able bodied people people not paying income taxes.
not to mention people like me, who are begging to pay taxes on my treadmill production and sales. let's not forget tax cheats like incognition! and under the table workers, too.
